Úterý 22.srpna patřilo na atletickém stadionu v Opavě starším žákům a jejich boji o tituly krajských přeborníků. Prázdninový termín a teploty vysoko přesahující 30°C byly velkou výzvou. Nutno podotknout, že o tituly a medaile příliš nešlo. Ti nejlepší si potřebali udělat skvělé výkony pro nominace na nadcházející mistrovství republiky. A my máme velikou radost, že se přesně tohle povedlo i Štěpánovi Imrichovi, když v běhu na 300m doslova deklasoval ostatní startující kluky a spolu se zlatou medailí si zajistil start na mistrovství republiky starších žáků! Gratulujeme a těšíme se, co nám Štěpa na MČR ukáže a jestli dokáže navázat na bronzový úspěch z halového mistrovství.
