Krnov hostil 2.kolo Beskydského poháru přípravek
Ve čtvrtek 10.4. se v Krnově na atletické stadionu uskutečnil tradiční závod krajského přeboru přípravek a minipřípravek. Přestože závodníkům nepřálo počasí, všichni mladí atleti se navzájem podporovali a fandili. Krnovský atletický stadion zaplnilo na 300 mladých atletů, trenérů, rozhodčích a pomocníků. Z celého kraje se sjely oddíly a čekaly je souboje v běžeckých štafetových disciplínách. Závodu se účastnila Atletika Krnov a na startu nechyběly týmy jako SSK Vítkovice, TJTŽ Třinec, Atletika Poruba, TJ. Slezan Frýdek-Místek, Atletický klub Emila Zátopka Kopřivnice, TJ Jäkl Karviná nebo TJ Olympia Bruntál. Nespočet dětských štafet závodících ve čtyřčlenných štafetách v běhu na 4x60m, 4x200m, 100-200-300-400m a v netradičních štafetách byl odměněn medailemi. Ve velké konkurenci se i štafety z Krnova dostaly na medailové pozice. Nejvíce se nám dařilo v kategorii v běhu na 4x60m. Mezi dívkami byla štafeta ve složení Eva Mašková, Barbora Házová, Eliška Uvírová a Veronika Uvírová ta úplně nejrychlejší a získala zlatou medaili. Mezi chlapci získala štafeta ve složení Denis Milerski, Šimon Rys, Šimon Kajaba a Adam Langer bronzovou medaili za třetí místo.
